Head of Retail Anti-Theft (Australia and New Zealand Region)

Our customers are some of Australia’s leading retailers.

YPB is looking for a Head of Retail Anti-Theft who will be leading the Retail Anti-Theft Division that covers Australia and New Zealand. Overseeing the business opportunities manage the sales team, set KPIs and targets. To be successful in this role you must have proven experience in Retail Anti-Theft and experience in successfully managing a sales team, be KPI driven and able to manage your time effectively and maximise opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Establish the inbound lead requirements needed to meet your sales objectives
• Provide full visibility into the sales pipeline at every stage of development
• Establish and foster partnerships and relationships with key customers both externally and internally
• Motivating the sales team to achieve the best results possible.
• Setting activity and revenue targets for the sales team.
• Training and development of the sales team.
• Identifying key areas for improvement in the sales process.
• Work collaboratively across teams – including Procurement, Product and Marketing, Finance and Legal
• Personally help close largest deals
• Negotiating pricing, contracts and ensure ongoing support
• Establishing and maintaining positive client relationships through proactive business development
• End-to-end management of customers from prospecting through to closure and account maintenance
• Managing and reporting on budgets, achieving and exceeding monthly sales and margin targets
• Communicate with the internal teams across multiple team zones
• Interstate travel is required

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of sales experience with retail business, loss prevention or anti-theft.
• Proven track record of achieving targets and driving sales growth in a business
• Previous experience successfully managing sales teams in the Retail Anti-Theft industry
• Previous sales experience – B2B, F2F or phone, and account management capacity
• Well presented with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work autonomously
• Strong leadership skills and an ability to inspire sales teams.
• Proactive business development with existing accounts
• Start-up or tech experience selling B2B is preferable
• A positive attitude and desire to get the job done to a high level of success
• High desirable: knowledge of Consumer brands
• Must possess a clean driver’s license and your own vehicle
• Professional sales training would be a strong advantage.

  • Base salary plus statutory superannuation
